ABP SPONSORS BLACK-TAILED GODWIT
Following a donation of £5,000, Associated British Ports (ABP) is sponsoring the black-tailed godwit as part of the British Trust for Ornithology’s (BTO) Bird Atlas 2007-11 species-sponsorship scheme.

IPSWICH WELCOMES LUXURY CRUISE SHIP
The Port of Ipswich has played host to its first cruise-call in several years with the arrival of MS Hanseatic. The 123-metre vessel, operated by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, visited the town recently as part of a round-Britain cruise, particularly designed to show the German passengers some of the finest architecture and gardens in the British Isles.

SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE PAYS MAIDEN VISIT TO CARDIFF
The Spirit of Adventure sailed from the Port of Cardiff recently after her first visit to the city. At 140-m in length, and with six decks and 206 cabins, the cruise ship proved an impressive sight moored inside Cardiff’s Queen Alexandra Dock.
